Huntington Beach is located on the coast in Orange County California just north of Newport Beach and south of Seal Beach. It is best known world-wide as a surfing community. Time Magazine recently named it as “Best beach in America”. Huntington Beach is often referred to as Surf City. The US Open of surfing, the largest surf competition in the world is held here every year at the iconic Huntington Beach Pier. The Surf City USA Marathon, Annual Huntington Beach-cruiser Meet, AVP Beach Volleyball Tournament, Concours d’Elegance, 4 th of July Celebration, Surf City Surf Dog, and Breitling Huntington Beach Air Show are also held here. Due to the ongoing events there are several high-end hotel resorts on the coast in Huntington Beach including, The Hyatt Regency Resort and Spa, The Waterfront Beach Resort, and Pasea Hotel & Spa.

Some of the best public schools you’ll find are in Huntington Beach. Including, Huntington Seacliff Elementary, Agnes L. Smith Elementary School, Circle View Middle School, Harbour View Elementary, Ethyl Dwyer Middle School, Edison High School, Huntington Beach High School, and Marina High School. Pacific City is popular for its collection of shops and restaurants, it is located on PCH by Main street and the pier. Pacific City was named for the early oceanfront village that would eventually become Huntington Beach. Bella Terra is located off the 405 Freeway and features a wide range of shops, restaurants, fitness centers, Costco, Whole Foods, a movie theater and more.

Huntington Beach can be divided into four main sections,1) South Huntington Beach with over 60 neighborhoods including Huntington Place and Pacific Shore ,2) West Huntington Beach has over 90 neighborhoods including Beachwalk, Del Way Townhomes, La Cuesta by the Sea, La Cuesta Racquet Club, Pacific Ranch Townhomes and Seaside Village, 3) Northwest Huntington Beach includes Huntington Harbour with some of the most expensive homes in Huntington Beach, many with their own boat slips. There are over 60 different communities in this section of Huntington including Sea Harbour. Huntington Harbour is divided into five man-made island communities, Admiralty, Davenport, Gilbert, Humboldt, and Trinidad. 4)Northeast Huntington Beach is a more affordable area part of Huntington Beach, with over 50 neighborhoods to choose from. It is located west of Fountain Valley and the 405 freeway.
